Our Directors
Claudia Quijano - Director
As Director of Excelencia Preschool, she helps create a school environment where children feel safe, loved, and excited to learn each day. She brings a thoughtful, hands on approach to leadership, supporting teachers, connecting with families, and making sure every classroom reflects the warmth and purpose of Excelencia’s bilingual program. Claudia believes early childhood is a powerful time to build confidence, curiosity, and a love for learning. Her goal is to help every child feel seen, encouraged, and proud of their growth in both Spanish and English.
Yeisha Baez - Assistant Director
As Assistant Director, she plays an important role in keeping each day at Excelencia running with care, consistency, and joy. She supports teachers, welcomes families, and helps create the calm, nurturing environment children need to feel comfortable and confident. Yeisha's work is rooted in patience, connection, and a genuine love for early learning. She is passionate about helping children build independence, friendships, and language skills through meaningful play and everyday bilingual experiences.

Hello! My name is [placeholder] and I am the Assistant Director here at... I started my journey here as a teacher 5 years ago. I was blessed with the experience of teaching and watching our wonderful 2 and 3 year olds grow! About 2 years ago I was given the opportunity to join the office. I was excited to learn the ins and outs of what it takes to maintain an amazing child care center. I have had the pleasure of welcoming all of our wonderful children to the Bear Creek Family. I can’t wait to continue my journey here!
